Been a little bit excited about the Marni collection for H&M since it was announced back in November and here it is, the whole lookbook, photographed by Josh Ollins. Featuring Marni signature bold oversized prints and chunky plastic jewellery (love!) Must haves for me include a truly amazing sequined collar and a cute wee pair of patterned shorts.

whistles
Whistles! My other new favourite thing. Probably the closest we have to Madewell, working at a neighbouring concession in Frasers, is quite simply torture. Three days a week i have to walk past and pretend not to notice, whilst mentally planning a shopping list that will rpobably never be realised (unless it's sale time). So here it goes, another list of covatable pieces that i want and probably can't have.
madewell
I wiped the slate clean (well almost) and started again. Here's to new beginnings and here's to American jeans makers Madewell. Most recently brought to the forefront and to my attention with their collaboration with fashionista Alexa Chung (which was, delightful, to say the least), Madewell (1973) is my new favourite, well, thing. Boasting their 'covet-worthy dresses, amazing leather boots, tees you’ll want in multiples and the most perfect chambray shirts you’ll ever wear', Madewell is the shop i love but can't have. I find myself continually browsing their web store, lusting over polka dot dresses, polka dot capri pants and of course, polka dot midi skirts, only to find they don't ship to the U.K. Maybe this is a good thing, seen as a simple spotty frock would set me back at least $150...
the good news is, i'm off to NYC in no less than three weeks, and here is my wish list, if i come back with even one of these lovlies i'll be dead chuffed!

Oreo Cheesecake!
The sluttiest dessert in the world! Think i've made it enough now to share the recipe (not that it was a secret), it's so easy to make and tastes amazing!
Ingredients
For the base...
- 250g oreo biscuits
- 100g unsalted butter
For the topping...
- approx 15 oreos roughly chopped
- 400g pack of philadelphia cheese
- 250ml double cream
- 50g icing sugar
- 1tbsp vanilla extract
To decorate...
- more oreos!!!
- Finely grind the 250g of Oreo cookies. Melt the 100g of unsalted butter and add to the cookie crumbs, mix until well combined.
- Press onto the base of a cake tin/dish pushing a little up the sides to create a small ridge.
- Refridgerate the base while preparing the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cream Cheese, Vanilla extract and Icing Sugar.
- In a seperate bowl/jug, whisk the double cream. Once it starts to thicken up, add to the cream cheese mix and whisk a little more till you have a thick, but still creamy consistency.
- Fold in the 15 coarsely chopped Oreos till evenly spread around the mixture.
- Pour filling over the cookie crumb base and smooth out till flat and even.
- Decorate the top with more oreos (the mini ones are perfect!)
- Refrigerate overnight for best results.

the birth of leopard print revival
Leopard Print Revival is a space for me to share my ideas/interests/fantasies/fancies with anyone who cares..
I guess I'll start off with a couple of photos, taken this summer on my third trip to Berlin (which currently remains my favourite city, i think) of some of the amazing vintage shops that we went to...
Vintage shops in Berlin just seem to be better, generally- especially for guys. The stock always appears to have been more lovingly selected and in my experience (although i've heard otherwise), items are generally sold at a better price which means a little more vintage indulgence for your Euro! This time round I bagged myself some cute white 1980s heels (possibly the first time i've found a pair of vintage shoes in my size) and amazing high waist peach coloured shorts!
If vintage shopping is your thing, whether it be for clothes and accessories or furniture and household bits and bobs, then Berlin is definitely the city for you. There seems to be an unlimited supply of quirky little stores lurking in basements, and attics alike, and if you're in search of something a little more unusual or fancy haggling for a bargain then there are also a handful of incredible flea markets to choose from- the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday!
