Oreo Cheesecake!

The sluttiest dessert in the world! Think i've made it enough now to share the recipe (not that it was a secret), it's so easy to make and tastes amazing!

Ingredients

For the base...
  • 250g oreo biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter
For the topping...
  • approx 15 oreos roughly chopped
  • 400g pack of philadelphia cheese
  • 250ml double cream
  • 50g icing sugar
  • 1tbsp vanilla extract
To decorate...
  • more oreos!!!

  • Finely grind the 250g of Oreo cookies. Melt the 100g of unsalted butter and add to the cookie crumbs, mix until well combined.
  • Press onto the base of a cake tin/dish pushing a little up the sides to create a small ridge.
  • Refridgerate the base while preparing the filling.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cream Cheese, Vanilla extract and Icing Sugar.
  • In a seperate bowl/jug, whisk the double cream. Once it starts to thicken up, add to the cream cheese mix and whisk a little more till you have a thick, but still creamy consistency.
  • Fold in the 15 coarsely chopped Oreos till evenly spread around the mixture.
  • Pour filling over the cookie crumb base and smooth out till flat and even.
  • Decorate the top with more oreos (the mini ones are perfect!)
  • Refrigerate overnight for best results.
